Paul Marcum is Co-founder/CEO of Big Finish Digital, the new agency that develops and delivers campaigns, content, and CX for entrepreneurial brands. Marcum brings to the venture deep expertise in digital media, having led brands, agencies, and publishers to rapid growth over the course of his career.
Prior to launching Big Finish Digital, Marcum led Truffle Pig, the joint venture of WPP, Snap & Daily Mail, as its President, building the agency from a shell to an ongoing venture within two years, and securing assignments from clients including NBCU, Tiffany & Co., & Scripps. Previously, Marcum was the head of Global Digital Video for Bloomberg Media, growing their reach by 350% within a year to put them atop their competitive category. Before joining Bloomberg, he architected GE’s renowned social and content marketing efforts as Global Director of Digital Marketing and Programming from 2010 to 2014. Under his leadership, GE developed a multi-channel approach to celebrating its technology and was named Ad Age’s Digital “A” List for the first time in 2013.
Previously, in executive roles at Sesame Workshop, Yahoo!, Modem Media and Hal Riney & Partners, Marcum had the privilege of developing digital experiences and campaigns for many iconic brands including Sesame Street, Star Wars, AT&T, Delta, and Citi. He has been named to Ad Age’s Creativity 50 and iMedia’s 25 Marketing Leaders and Innovators. His work has been recognized with numerous awards including a Cannes Bronze, a Silver Pencil, and three Interactive Emmy Award Nominations. He appears on stage frequently as a keynoter, panel moderator, and participant. Marcum lives in New York with his wife and two children.
